AI, Skills and Online Opportunities Take Center Stage at Cebu Summit 2026

Cebu Summit Highlights AI Integration and Human Skills for Future Growth

... ...

Artificial intelligence is changing how businesses operate, but industry leaders at the Future of Agencies Summit Cebu 2026 emphasized that technology alone will not determine who succeeds. Human adaptability, continuous learning, and access to digital opportunities will be equally important.

CEBU, PHILIPPINES - October 21, 2026 - Held on October 2–3 at bai Hotel Cebu, the summit gathered 120 participants from eight countries: the Philippines, India, Australia, the United States, France, China, Singapore, and Poland. Organized by Ashish Dasharathi, Founder of AdSummits.org, with MK Bertulfo, Co-Founder of FHNetwork, as local organizing partner, the event brought together agency leaders, entrepreneurs, and digital professionals to discuss the evolving digital economy.

The program explored artificial intelligence, automation, search engine optimization (SEO), large language models (LLMs), and strategies for building sustainable digital agencies. Its central message was clear: businesses must learn to integrate emerging technologies while continuing to invest in people.

Dasharathi observed that leading agencies across the world have setup new revenue streams powered by LLMs, and have expanded the client base while also reducing costs. His remarks reflected a growing recognition that technological readiness is becoming an important part of maintaining competitiveness in the digital services industry.

Bertulfo, meanwhile, highlighted the broader potential of online work and entrepreneurship.

“Lahat pwedeng magkaroon ng opportunity, lahat pwedeng kumita online,” she said, underscoring the summit’s aim of highlighting opportunities for more people to participate in the digital economy.

Her message connected the agency industry's transformation with a wider economic opportunity: equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to pursue online careers, freelance work, and digital entrepreneurship.

Other speakers stressed the importance of balancing innovation with human judgment. Bart Magera, founder of Mojo Links, said artificial intelligence should supplement human thinking rather than become something businesses rely on excessively.

Faith Natividad, founder of Faith AI, also challenged the fear that AI would automatically replace employees. She emphasized the importance of preparing workers for a changing digital workplace, where the ability to adapt and develop relevant skills can make a difference.

The speaker lineup also featured professionals representing organizations across digital marketing, SEO, AI consulting, business operations, and technology. Their participation reflected the breadth of expertise involved in navigating the industry's transformation.

Presented by AdSummits.org and co-presented by Unique Genius Careers, Faith Works PH, and Higlobe PH, the event was supported by industry partners, including major sponsors StudioHawk, IndiDesign.in,  OptoGrow, exhibitor ZBiz Solutions, and media partners Istoryahe Cebu and SMNI News Channel. Additional partners from the design, SEO, coworking, and digital business communities contributed to the summit's collaborative environment.

For Cebu, the gathering offered a platform for international knowledge-sharing and conversations about the future of digital work. For businesses and workers alike, it reinforced a practical lesson: AI adoption is not simply about acquiring new tools, but about building the capabilities to use them responsibly and effectively.

As the digital economy continues to evolve, the summit placed people at the center of the conversation, highlighting how technology, preparation, and wider access to opportunity can help shape the next generation of digital businesses.
