ASSIST and Arla ‘let in the goodness’ of strong partnerships in various communities

Makati, Philippines - July 02, 2025 - This year, ASSIST and Arla were able to roll out donations to different sectors in various parts of the country. Dairy products were distributed among OSYs, public school teachers and students in Metro Manila and the Bicol region, government employees, farmer communities in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela and Quirino, as well as employee volunteers from different companies and organizations — maximizing social impact and responsibility. 

“Our first batch of donations was aligned with the needs of our communities — particularly for the public-school students and teachers from schools in Parañaque and Pasay,” shared by Ronric Amenamen, QEHS Specialist at Arla Foods. “We also extended help to our farmers in North Luzon and to schools in Bicol after Typhoon Kristine last December. As a dairy farmer cooperative based in Denmark, Arla has a deep-rooted culture of supporting farmers — a commitment that extends beyond its home country and is reflected in its initiatives here in the Philippines.”

Arla Foods has since produced healthy, natural and organic dairy products, ensuring quality from farm to fridge. As a cooperative owned by over 11,000 dairy farmers across seven countries, Arla guarantees animal welfare and food safety, underpinned by sustainable dairy farming practices.
